* Connect the plotter with usb to your laptop

* Install the printer in your system (cups) by browsing to localhost:631 (not sure if this is needed, I don't think so)

* Choose 'Raw' as the 'Make', 'Raw Queue' as model

* Start inkcut

** Device->Setup

*** General: driver = Silhouette Portrait

*** General: Check customize, set width to 24cm, length 300cm

*** Device: Output: check 'Swap X/Y'

*** Connection: Type = parallel port, Port will be something like /dev/usb/lp2

** On the left, activate 'Material'
 +
** Set the plot area (first number on top is width, i set it to 240mm for the metamark e series sheets, height i didn't measure (my design wasn't that tall)

** Now you can load a design, maybe set 'Graphic Copies' to fill the sheet

** Then Device->Send to Device et voila

Eet vinyl (20cm breed)

Vinyl is aanwezig in meerdere kleuren

Er is Windows and Mac-software meegeleverd. Onder Linux wordt de cutter herkend als Parallel-over-USB device.

Werkt naar behoren met https://www.codelv.com/projects/inkcut/ onder Linux en OSX (Windows niet getest). Vraag Gebruiker:raboof eventueel voor hulp.

We zijn ook een grotere oudere vinylsnijder aan het opknappen, de AristoVinylsnijder
